As a Finance Intern, your work will directly contribute to the financial health of the organization. By assisting in the preparation of reports, conducting analysis, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, you’ll help streamline financial operations and ensure data is accurate and actionable. The impact you make will be visible as you work alongside various teams and stakeholders, enhancing their financial understanding and contributing to improved financial processes.

  • Adhering to safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety within the manufacturing environment.
  • Analyzing financial data and preparing reports to assist in management decision-making.
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Conducting research to identify market trends and financial performance metrics.
  • Helping to improve financial models, spreadsheets, and systems for efficiency.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and performance metrics.
  • Participating in ad-hoc financial projects as needed to gain a broader understanding of the organization’s financial landscape.
  • Preparing bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable reports, and assisting with invoicing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and an interest in financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, or similar tools) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a desire to learn and grow within the accounting field.
