Klarus Home Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide coordinated physical therapy services to home health patients of all age groups in Santa Fe, NM and surrounding areas. Working under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, this role offers meaningful one-on-one patient care, flexibility, and professional autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist
• Participate in the coordination of patient care
• Implement treatment plans and document patient progress
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and mobility
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards

Qualifications


• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with an associate degree
• Current Idaho PTA license or PT Licensure Compact (PTLC) license, as applicable
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto liability insurance
• 1+ year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Home health experience
• Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR knowledge
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and perform prolonged standing and walking
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required
• Ability to work under moderate stress to meet deadlines and patient needs
• Work performed in patient homes under varying conditions
