Kunes Auto Group is hiring an Automotive Billing & Title Clerk to support the accounting office at Kunes Apple Valley GMC. This role plays a critical part in ensuring vehicle deals are processed accurately, documented properly, and compliant with state regulations.

The position works closely with the Office Manager, Sales Managers, and Finance team to manage the administrative and accounting steps that happen after a vehicle sale. If you have dealership office experience or strong administrative and accounting skills and want to grow within the automotive industry, this is a great opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing dealership groups in the Midwest.

We are open to candidates with automotive dealership billing/titling experience as well as detail-oriented administrative professionals willing to learn the dealership accounting process.


What You’ll Do

Process Vehicle Sales Deals

  • Review and process new and used vehicle sales documentation
  • Cost and post deals into the dealership management system
  • Verify deal structure, financial documents, and supporting paperwork for accuracy

Handle Titling & Compliance

  • Prepare and submit DMV title and registration paperwork
  • Ensure all documentation complies with state and manufacturer requirements
  • Track and manage title status to ensure timely completion

Manage Deal Accounting

  • Post accounting entries related to vehicle deals
  • Process trade-in payoffs and dealer trades
  • Assist with warranty cancellations and related documentation

Support the Accounting Office

  • Assist with scanning, filing, and maintaining accurate deal records
  • Support daily office operations and dealership accounting processes
  • Collaborate with the Office Manager and dealership leadership on reporting and documentation needs

Requirements

Preferred Experience

  • Experience as a billing clerk, title clerk, deal processor, or dealership accounting clerk
  • Prior experience working in an automotive dealership office

Other Experience Considered

  • Administrative or accounting support experience
  • Accounts payable / accounts receivable experience
  • Experience managing documentation, financial records, or compliance processes

Compensation

  • $20.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience
