Department: Marketing

Functions: Hands-on role in supporting the development, production, and distribution of high-quality digital content that strengthens the Kelley brand presence across multiple platforms. Opportunity to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced automotive marketing environment while contributing creative ideas and learning industry best practices.

Relationships: Reports to Marketing Manager

Responsibilities and Authority:

Social Media & Content Creation

• Assist in developing, planning, and executing engaging social media content (photo, video, and written copy) across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter). 
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative campaign ideas that align with dealership promotions, events, and brand messaging. 
• Capture and edit photo/video content featuring vehicles, dealership events, and team members using current tools and trends. 
• Write clear, engaging, and on-brand captions tailored to each platform and audience. 
• Any other tasks deemed necessary per Management. 

Content Planning & Execution

• Help design and schedule posts, reels, and stories to maintain a consistent and professional online presence. 
• Support the execution of monthly content calendars and assist with real-time content opportunities (events, trends, etc.). 
• Ensure all content aligns with brand standards and manufacturer guidelines. 
• Any other tasks deemed necessary per Management. 

Analytics & Performance Tracking

• Monitor social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, clicks, etc.) and assist in identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. 
• Help compile performance reports and contribute ideas on how to optimize content strategies. 
• Any other tasks deemed necessary per Management. 

Industry Awareness & Innovation

• Stay up to date on automotive trends, social media best practices, and emerging digital marketing tools. 
• Bring fresh, creative ideas and perspectives to the team—your input is valued. 
• Any other tasks deemed necessary per Management. 

General Support

• Assist with additional marketing initiatives such as email campaigns, website updates, and event promotion as needed. 
• Perform other tasks assigned by management to support the overall marketing department. 
• Any other tasks deemed necessary per Management.

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or the equivalent. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field. Must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Strong organizational and communication skills. Basic knowledge of content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.) is preferred. Passion for social media, content creation, and storytelling. Self-motivated, creative and eager to learn. Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Working Conditions:

Will work at a desk in an office setting. Will work with a computer. May stand, stoop, lift, kneel, crouch or reach during the shift.
