UPMC Presbyterian, a Magnet designated hospital, is currently hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse to support the Acute Inpatient Rehab Unit, 11E/W.
About the Unit:
11 East/West at UPMC Montefiore is a 20 bed Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. We care for patients from all specialties across Presbyterian and Montefiore hospitals as well as patients from outside facilities. Those specialties include trauma, stroke, cardiovascular including patients on LVADs, general debility, and transplant (including Heart, Lung, Kidney, Liver and Abdominal Visceral). We are a Stroke Center of Excellence as designated by the Joint Commission. A criterion for a patient to be admitted to Rehab is that they must be able to tolerate 3 hours of intense physical, occupational and speech therapy daily. We work collaboratively as an interdisciplinary team to assist the patient to achieve their highest level of function possible.
