Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unloads materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
  • Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck, electric dolly, or other device
  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers
  • Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together, using banding machine and clincher May occasionally use automated equipment and/or operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
  • Builds pallets and applies all necessary paperwork to the pallet and moves pallet to a shipping staging area.
  • Performs off line tasks as needed, (floorwork, cleaning trays, giving breaks, fixing packing errors)
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for training and supporting new and existing team members.

Qualifications

  • Should be able to stand up to eight hours.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Basic skill in the use of shrink-wrap or strapping equipment, manual dollies, pallet jacks,  tape fasteners, related equipment
  • The ability to work on an inserter attached to the top or back of a press.

Additional Information

**CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT**

 The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $15.00 - $17.34 / hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include  overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay. RRD’s benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
