Our summer internship program is designed to give you meaningful ownership, exposure to senior leaders, and a front‑row seat to how a global, consumer‑focused company operates.

The Planning Intern will support the Demand Planning and S&OP organization by analyzing sales trends, promotional activity, seasonality, and omni‑channel demand signals. In addition, this role incorporates market research responsibilities to help the team understand external factors influencing demands- such as consumer behavior trends, competitor actions, and macro retail patterns. This position provides exposure to the full retail planning cycle, combining data analytics with strategic insights.

What You’ll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

  • Assist in building and updating SKU/channel/customer demand forecasts
  • Analyze/solution low runners with statistical demand spike exceptions
  • Support forecast accuracy improvement through segmentation (product/customer/channel)
  • Collaborate with cross function teams such as Sales, Supply Planning, Brand and Finance
  • Track forecast performance KPIs (ex. Forecast accuracy, bias) and provide insights on trends/anomalies
  • Analyze point of sale data to identify retailer shifts that could impact forecasts
  • Assist in gathering and interpreting market research: competitive data, trends, and customer sentiment
  • Summarize market trend insights into briefs that assist forecast updates or S&OP discussions
  • Support the monthly Demand S&OP cycle with data gathering, reporting and presentation creation
  • Support reporting and/or Power BI enhancements
  • Clean, organize and interpret large datasets from various sources
  • Update and maintain planning calendars, files and reporting tools
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and projects assigned
  • Travel Required – up to 10%

What You’ll Need (Qualifications):

  • Recent graduate or currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Marketing or Finance.
  • Self-motivated, curious and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Experience in Power BI, SQL, Python, or Power Query a plus

Program Details

  • Duration: 10–12 weeks during the summer
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week ($25 per hour)
  • Format: Project‑based assignments with defined deliverables
