About the Role

Are you ready to shape the future—literally? As the Toolroom Assistant, you’ll be a key person to ensure our manufacturing processes are precise, ensuring our parts, that are used in critical industries like aerospace, automotive, construction and energy, meet demanding specifications. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a high-speed, high-detailed environment where every part you assist in making makes a difference. 

A few things that You’ll Do...

  • Inspect, inventory and maintain all tooling
  • Collect and distribute necessary tooling to departments, timely
  • Operate all toolroom machinery, including and EDM machine
  • Ensure the toolroom is properly maintained and all items are accounted for
  • Inspect parts for quality accuracy using precision measuring tools. 
  • Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment. 
  • Utilize a forklift to move material to and from the workstation. 
  • Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to troubleshoot and optimize processes. 
  • Use computer software to maintain the toolroom and it's purposes

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Must be 18, or older
  • High school diploma, or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year in manufacturing is required, with a preference of machine operation experience
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, such as fixing machinery, climbing and driving forktrucks. 
  • Strong mathematical skill is a must. 
  • The ability to periodically lift 75 lbs. is must
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and quality standards in a manufacturing setting. 
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
