Job Description

SV Academy is a leading career accelerator dedicated to launching early-career talent into rewarding tech sales and customer success roles. Through our instructor-led bootcamp and paid residency program, we partner with high-growth employers to provide hands-on experience and professional development.

As an SDR/BDR, you will embark on a structured pathway designed to build your skills and confidence in tech sales. You will start with a comprehensive 2-week bootcamp, followed by interviews with employer partners, and then participate in a 90-day residency embedded within a partner organization. This immersive experience prepares you for a seamless transition into a full-time sales development role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interview for admission into the SV Academy program
  • Complete a 2-week bootcamp with comprehensive support and training
  • Interview with employer partners for residency placement
  • Participate in a 90-day residency within a partner organization to develop SDR/BDR skills
  • Engage in real-world sales activities and learn industry best practices
  • Work collaboratively with teams focused on growth and mentorship
  • Prepare for conversion to a full-time role with the employer partner upon successful completion of the residency
Required Qualifications:
  • English proficiency sufficient for professional work communication
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a customer-facing role such as retail, hospitality, customer support, fundraising, or account management
  • Experience in a goal-driven role with measurable targets (quotas, KPIs, bookings, revenue, or activity metrics)
  • Ability to attend evening sessions during the 2-week bootcamp
  • Remote work with flexibility to operate from designated US states
  • Professional development through SV Academy's bootcamp and ongoing training
  • Paid residency placement with high-growth employer partners in renewable energy
