ICP Group is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Coordinator for our Lynchburg VA plant. The primary responsibility of the Gas House Coordinator (2nd Shift) in the Carroll location is to, at the direction of the Plant Manager, Production Manager, or Production Supervisor, fill canisters with products and ensure 2nd shift production goals are met. This position comes with an expectation of being able to work at a fast pace and be able to meet the daily schedule while executing management directives for 2nd shift production goals. 

Monday – Friday; 3:30pm – 2:00am (2nd shift) $22.00 per hour, plus $.65/hr shift differential.
 
  • Follow off-shift production instructions provided by the Plant Manager or Production Manager/Production Supervisor.
  • Ensure that off-shift production goals are being met as set forth by management
  • Elevate issues to management during the off shift to be addressed accordingly
  • Maintain strict adherence to all plant safety requirements including wearing proper PPE
  • Follow standard operating procedures, company policies, and safety regulations
  • Perform start up and shut down of equipment
  • Operate equipment and monitor quality
  • Review work order information; key in formula number per work order
  • Slide the empty canister from the conveyor to the scale, attach the hoses to the canister, and press the button to initiate the filling process
  • Monitor canister weight to ensure accurate product filling
  • Push filled canister back onto conveyor
  • May need to fill canister manual if equipment has a glitch; turn PLC off, open valve(s) manually to fill canister to appropriate weight
  • Grease, adjust, or clean specific parts of the production line to keep equipment in optimal condition; use various hand tools
  • Maintains cleanliness of work area
  • Train others when needed
  • Help with cycle counts when needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
 
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Must be able to follow specific instructions (work instructions, procedures, etc.), both written and verbal
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented
  • Must be able to work in a non-temperature regulated environment
  • Ability to work in chemical manufacturing environment, involving solvents and other hazardous materials
  • Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs. and perform other necessary physical requirements in performance of regular job duties
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods
  • Must have good attendance
