This role is on a rotating 12-hour Dupont schedule with a 4-week cycle of day and night shifts, including a full week off each month.

What we are looking for:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Additional education is a plus
  • Ability to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and ladders, and navigating around equipment and machinery
  • Must lift 50 lbs and walk/stand for a minimum of 12 hours. Walking up and down stairs and throughout the mill for 12 hours
  • We prefer prior use of a forklift (12 months) and prior work in a manufacturing environment

  • Starting pay of $20.68/hour, plus a profit share/gain share program. This rate will increase to 23.43/hour, after satisfactory completion of 6-month probationary period and certifying into level 1 role (includes testing and performance assessment)

In this role, you would:

  • Respond to upset conditions and work closely with any and all team members to address problems
  • Communicate with team members about production line activities, any upset conditions experienced, and follow up on the resolution
  • Properly complete product changes and productively operate the equipment
  • Create maintenance requests for equipment problems in a timely manner and follow-up as needed to ensure work is completed
  • Actively participate in any problem-solving meetings and contribute to improving processes
  • Complete paperwork and electronic entries as necessary

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and ladders, and navigating around equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch as necessary to inspect and maintain equipment.
  • Capability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical tasks that involve lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects.
  • Endurance to stand and walk for extended periods, often in environments with dust, chemicals, high noise levels and varying temperatures.
