Job Description
Summary/Objective
- Assist the Appel Ford Service department in daily functions to ensure the shop is in a clean operating state and aid in customer satisfaction by providing prompt, efficient, and quality service.
Essential Functions
- TRASH
- PICKUP TRASH & OTHER REFUSE IN SHOP AREA
- FILTERS, COOLANT & WIPER BLADE INVENTORIES
- PICKUP TRASH OUTSIDE OF BUILDING TO SURROUNDING CURB AREA
- MOVE BATTERY CORES IN PROPER AREA
- SCRAP TIRES IN PROPER DISPOSAL AREA
- SHOP FLOOR(S) SWEPT AND/OR MOPPED AS NEEDED
- TIRE ROOM FLOOR SWEPT & STOCK TIRES IN ORDER
- SPENT OIL FILTERS IN PROPER DISPOSAL AREA
- PORTABLE OIL DRAIN DOLLIES DRAINED
- PIT DRAIN PANS AT REASONABLE OIL LEVELS
- PIT TOOLS CLEANED & IN ORDER
- PIT TRASH IN ORDER
- PIT FLOOR(S)& STAIRWAY CLEAN
- PIT WALLS CLEAN
- BRAKE LATHE AREA CLEAN & VACCED
- TIRE WHEEL BALANCE AREA CLEANED
- TIRE CHANGE AREA CLEANED
- SHOP EMPLOYEE RESTROOM CLEAN & ORDERLY
- SHOP HOSES CLEANED & IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION
- ALL OIL STORAGE CONTAINERS CLEAN TOP & BOTTOM
- ALL PNEUMATIC PUMP LUBRICTORS TO PROPER OIL LEVELS
- WINDSHIELD WASH SOLVENT CONTAINER TO PROPER LEVEL
- STOCK OIL FILTERS, AIR FILTERS, OILS, WIPERS, DEF ETC
Physical Demands
