Job Description

Position Description:
  Action Behavior Centers, a leading behavioral health organization for children with autism based out of Austin, Texas, is looking for a professional, energetic, organized, and driven person to join our team in a Teammate and client family focused role to help support and collaborate with teammates and leaders in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy world. We need an organized, empathic, collaborative and experienced Teammate Relation Advisor to support and conduct internal investigations across the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for conducting internal employee relations investigations related to allegations of workplace policy violations, workplace safety and patient/parent concerns. 
  • Conducts prompt, thorough and fair investigation consisting of background research and investigative interviews. Supports the investigative process under the direction of the governing department (People Services team, Legal team, or Clinical Peer Review) 
  • Gathers, organizes, and analyzes information to support written investigative reports. Assembles pertinent data, records and other evidence to reach timely and unbiased conclusions and findings. 
  • Responsible for creating professional and well-drafted investigation records and reports to deliver to the governing department. 
  • Creates supplemental materials to support the organization and department as necessary; provides follow up to ensure compliance and completion in a timely manner. 
  • Maintains confidentiality and organization of files of investigations conducted and information received. 
  • Participate in process creation and process improvement activities related to employee relations, workplace safety and patient safety.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required (preferred in Human Resources or related field and 1+ years of human resources or internal investigations experience)

  • Strong critical thinking and judgment skills; ability to develop strong preliminary investigative questions and use judgment skill to make assessments and ask the right follow up questions.  
  • Skill in examining and interpreting policy implementation to understand impact to Teammate and business.  
  • Ability to support process improvement on all People Services related initiatives
