Title/Accounting Clerk

We are a fast-paced dealership with an established clientele and we are looking for an experienced Title/Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate has at least one year of office or accounting experience, preferably in the automotive industry. This position requires a high attention to detail to ensure that all work completed is compliant with all legal requirements and adheres to all McCurley company policies.

Job Duties include, but not limited to: 

• Process all paperwork related to new, used, and wholesale vehicle sales transactions.  These items include, but not limited to:
  • Title and Licensing paperwork
  • Loan documents 
  • Lien Payoffs 
  • F&I product contracts and cancellations
  • Dealer trade documents
• Record the acquisition of new and used vehicle inventory into the accounting software
• Reconcile assigned accounts and balance sheet schedules regularly
• Post manual journal entries, prepare checks, and provide administrative support to management

• Prepare weekly/monthly reports for management 
• Assist with the monthly close of the dealership’s financial statements

Qualifications:

• Previous dealership Billing/Title experience preferred
• Knowledge of Accounting is required, must be willing to take and pass our accounting basics evaluation
• Good interpersonal, email and verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
• Self-motivated; able to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedule
• Ability to function under pressure, involving activities that are time-sensitive in nature

Hourly Pay ranges from $20.00 to $27.00.
