The Sales & Estimating Coordinator is an entry‑level role within the sales department at Crane Service Inc, supporting both sales and estimating functions across our construction operations. This position plays a key role in assisting with proposal preparation, estimating coordination, and day‑to‑day sales support for projects within assigned regional coverage areas of the United States.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative and coordination support to the Sales and Estimating teams
  • Assist with the preparation of quotes, estimates, proposals, and bid packages for construction projects
  • Help maintain bid calendars, organize deadlines, and ensure required documents are prepared and submitted on time
  • Support estimators by organizing drawings, specifications, and revisions
  • Assist with collecting subcontractor and vendor pricing under guidance from senior team members
  • Maintain and update project, customer, and bid information in CRM and internal tracking systems
  • Coordinate internally to help ensure smooth handoff of awarded projects from sales to operations
  • Respond to basic customer or internal inquiries and route more complex items to appropriate team members

Track bid activity and outcomes and help keep estimating and sales documentation organized and up to date

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales support, estimating support, construction administration, or customer service
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with direction and support
  • High attention to detail and willingness to learn construction and estimating processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; basic experience with CRM systems is a plus
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with a professional, team‑oriented approach
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven construction environment
  • Ability to take direction, ask questions, and grow into increased responsibility over time
