Caregiver for Assisted Living Facility (ALF)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ALF Caregiver to join our team and provide exceptional support to our residents. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a respectful and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility

- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents

- Monitor residents’ health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff

- Help with medication reminders and basic health needs as directed

- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including light housekeeping and laundry

- Follow care plans and adhere to facility policies and procedures

- Support residents in participating in recreational and social activities

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Must be at least 18 years of age

- Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, or related field preferred

- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a team

- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations

- Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility as needed

- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving or CPR is a plus
