Entertainment Production Database Intern 

Summer 2026 - For Credit Opportunity

The Entertainment Production Database Intern will support the Entertainment Visual Effects team by maintaining accurate project credit information for Alkemy X productions on IMDbPro, the Internet Movie Database. This role focuses on updating, verifying, correcting and submitting credits to ensure Alkemy X’s work and team members are correctly represented and attributed across film and television databases. The intern will gain hands-on experience working with entertainment metadata, research, and data quality processes, as well as understanding the roles and responsibilities of the members of a global VFX team.

This intern will report directly to the CEO and have the opportunity to learn hands-on from experienced film production and VFX professionals while gaining exposure to the post-production and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities:

• Review Alkemy X project credits and compare them with existing IMDb listings
• Cross-reference credits with production records, call sheets, and final credit lists
• Verify role titles, name spellings, and department designations to ensure Alkemy X team members receive proper credit across productions
• Maintain an internal spreadsheet tracking Alkemy X projects and credit status
• Ensure all submissions follow IMDb formatting and credit guidelines
• Get experience working with a diverse group of creatives at a global entertainment company!

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a college/university program and eligible for academic credit
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and data management skills
• Basic understanding or interest in the entertainment / visual effects / film and television industries
• Proficiency with tools like Google Workspace
• Must be available 1-2 days a week (we can set a weekly schedule based on your availability)
• Must be able to work virtually in the Philadelphia area (we are hybrid, in-office work days will occur as scheduled in advance)
