Job Description:
SimpleCITI is hiring a Commercial Real Estate Sourcing Intern to support acquisitions by generating qualified deal flow across our target markets. The role will be primarily focused on industrial and multifamily real estate, identifying both on-market and off-market opportunities that align with our buy box. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, persistent in outreach, and capable of sourcing high-quality opportunities through platforms and direct broker relationships.
Core Responsibilities:
• Source commercial real estate opportunities across industrial and multifamily asset classes
• Conduct outbound calls to brokers, owners, and market participants to uncover off-market deals
• Scrape and monitor platforms including Crexi, LoopNet, and CoStar for new listings and relevant opportunities
• Qualify deals based on SimpleCITI’s buy box criteria
• Maintain and update internal deal pipeline and CRM systems
• Build and manage broker relationships across target markets
• Coordinate with underwriting team to transition viable opportunities
• Strong communication skills and confidence in cold calling and outreach
• High activity level with ability to manage large volumes of outreach and data
• Organized and detail-oriented with disciplined pipeline tracking
• Familiarity with commercial real estate concepts (NOI, cap rates, asset classes)
• Self-directed, persistent, and execution-focused
Bonus:
• Prior experience in real estate sourcing, brokerage, or acquisitions
• Familiarity with CRM systems and data scraping workflows
• Existing broker relationships or market knowledge
• Exposure to industrial or multifamily real estate markets
