Job Description

Siena Catholic Schools of Racine is seeking a 2nd & 3rd Grade Multi-age Classroom Teacher to join St. Rita School and St. Joseph School for the 26/27 school year and beyond. This position is split 2 days a week at each school with 1 day at both schools. Curriculum and lesson plans will be the same for both locations. St. Rita and St. Joseph are both small schools of around 200 students with a strong family feel.  Siena Catholic Schools of Racine unites the area’s six Catholic elementary schools (John Paul II Academy, Our Lady of Grace Academy, St. Joseph, St. Lucy, St. Rita, St. Sebastian STEM Academy) and one high school (St. Catherine's) in a regional model of Catholic education intended to preserve the individual identity, history, and uniqueness of each school while maximizing the impact of collective strength. OUR MISSION

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate subject area.

• Appropriate State of Wisconsin licensing and certification is preferred

• Knowledge of application of best teaching practices

• Ability to work in a high achieving school in a diverse environment.

Preferred:

• Demonstrate commitment to the principles of Catholic Faith.

• Elementary teaching experience

• Have general knowledge of transformative technology instruction.
