Benefits Call Center Representative
Pay: $17.00 per hour, which may be below your state's minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying.
Work Schedule: Flexible between Monday- Friday 8am-8pm EST
Job Type: Full-Time in office role located in Chesapeake, VA. area
Training Provided: 6 weeks paid training- Monday-Friday 8am-530pm EST
Job Overview
We are seeking dependable and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Benefits Call Center Representative. In this role, you will handle a high volume of inbound calls from new and existing members regarding their benefit plans. This is a fast-paced call center environment where strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Answer a high volume of inbound calls in a professional and timely manner
Assist members with questions related to benefit plans
Update account information, including direct deposit details
Navigate multiple systems while accurately documenting interactions
Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently
Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance
Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma/GED
Must be 18 years of age
Customer service and/or call center experience with employer benefits or healthcare field is preferred.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems and dual screens
Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
Ability to solve problems through analysis and provided feedback
Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift between 8am-830pm EST, Monday- Friday
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries and co-workers.

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated hourly rate for this role is $17.00
