Occupational Summary

Participate in vision research projects involving experiments with cell culture, molecular biology and biochemistry and maintain an up-to-date notebook documenting progress.

Analyze and draw tentative conclusions from experimental results.

Confer with laboratory manager/principal investigator to review data and lab assignments.

Trouble shoot problems, discuss results and develop plans for further experiments.

Other responsibilities may include preparing culture media and solutions; cleaning glassware and other routine lab duties as needed.
