Job Description

We are looking for a hard-working and highly motivated individual for the Quality Department. Our paid internship program gives students an opportunity to apply their skills while working on real-world projects. Previous students have found the Curtiss-Wright program to be a very valuable learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Strong creative, analytic, problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office
  • Willingness to learn, adapt and build experience in a development and production environment.

Quality Engineer

  • Individual will prepare PowerPoint presentations and Excel data analysis based on the information provided.
  • Conducting hands-on product testing
  • Conduct DOEs
  • Reporting issues and verifying fixed problems
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of our existing testing process
  • Work closely with and support quality, production and engineering initiatives.
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills good judgment to ensure delivery of a quality, product within established deadlines.
  • Find, record, and track defects / defectives throughout their lifecycle

Responsibilities:

  • Function as a member of a Quality team to support new concepts and technologies.
  • Research new technologies, hardware, and concepts to help improve the quality function.
  • Support experimental trials. Document and report findings.
