Join Sandusky Goodwill and be part of a team where every sale supports job training, education, and community impact. As the Production Retail Clerk, you will assist the Retail Store Manager and/or Assistant Retail Store Manager in general operation of the store. 

Essential functions:

  • Consistently meet or exceed production quotas as determined by management.
  • Assist at donor door as necessary, including unloading of donations from donor’s vehicle.
  • Exercise discretion regarding acceptance and/or disposition of donated goods and maintain donor relationship through attentive customer service.
  • Use sound judgment in sorting/producing donations and price consistently; ensure items of value are not discarded during process.
  • Assist customers in loading large, purchased items.
  • Utilize material handling equipment to move gaylords and barrels as necessary.
  • Secure facility, donations, and store merchandise by implementing loss prevention and store security measures. 
  • Sort, pull, display and arrange merchandise as instructed by store managers.
  • Adhere to all company personnel policies and procedures; assist all clerks and store personnel in understanding and following policies and procedures.
  • Promote positive teamwork among co-workers.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Attend safety training and follow all safety procedures and protocols to always ensure a safe and supervised work environment for all employees.
  • Responsible for other duties as may be assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Retail experience preferred but not require
