The main duty of this position is to repair broken pallets.  Employees must be able to use personal safety equipment while working in a manufacturing environment that includes moving machinery, fast paced forklift traffic, machine noise, and a work environment that will vary depending on the time of year.  If you’re ready to be a team player in a family like setting with a rich history, then apply now.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Repair wooden pallets to company specifications
• Clean work area tidy
• Other tasks that are assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequent lifting and bending of nothing more than 50 lbs.
• Ability of standing and walking for extended periods of time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• The work environment consists of occasional extreme temperature shifts ranging from very cold to very hot.
• Exposure to dust and loud noise (hearing protection is provided).
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moving forklifts.

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Monday – Friday 7am until at least 5pm sometimes later, sometimes earlier
• Some Saturday work may be required
