Job Summary

GetWell HealthSystems is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Front Desk / Medical Assistant to support our Behavioral Health team in Charlestown, Indiana. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming, confidential, and efficient clinic experience while assisting with both administrative and basic clinical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Administrative Duties

  • Greet and check-in patients in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Answer multi-line phone systems, respond to inquiries, and route calls appropriately
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
  • Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays or payments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records (EHR)
  • Ensure front office cleanliness and organization
  • Handle patient intake forms and documentation
  • Coordinate communication between patients and behavioral health providers

Medical Assistant / Clinical Support

  • Assist with patient intake, including medical history and medication review
  • Record vital signs when required (BP, weight, etc.)
