The Internships (4 openings):

Our internships are designed to promote learning, networking and career development.  The goal of the internship is to give students an opportunity to experience what is like to work in the sales organization of Hercules and gain understanding of our Commercial Leadership Development Program (CLDP).  Successful interns may be awarded an offer to join the CLDP program prior to returning to school, to begin upon graduation.

The Key Details:

  • Internships are 12- weeks assignments:  June 1, 2026 – August 21, 2026
  • Pay is $20 per hour
  • Full time, in office position.  Hours are generally Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Some travel required (up to 2 weeks to our Louisville distribution center; up to 2 weeks on the road to visit customers around the country).
  • Reports to the Program Manager; will have strong HR support, as well as a mentor and various assignment leaders to provide feedback and direction for the assignment.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior
  • Be enrolled in a degree program with a Marketing, Sales and/or Business Major

What you’ll be doing:

  • The intern group will be given a project that involves a real business case, requiring research, analysis and a proposed solution.
  • In the assignment, you will see the full customer experience life cycle:
    • Marketing, Inside sales, supply chain, operations,  external sales, product development
    • You will spend time in each of these departments to learn about our processes from the leaders and current employees to gather data for your analysis of the case study.
  • At the end of the assignment, the group will present their findings to the senior leaders and recommended solutions to enhance the customer experience.
  • Along the way, you will also be included in enrichment activities, such as a roundtable with the Executive team, an assigned mentor, and trainings as required.
