Program Overview
The WIM Early Careers program is designed to attract, develop, and retain recent college graduates within our WIM line of business. Our goal is to build bench strength and foster an inclusive environment where you can grow and thrive.
The WIM Analyst Program offers a collaborative setting focused on personal and professional development. Over a two-year, non-rotational period, analysts will:
Gain hands-on experience in non-client roles within one of WIM’s divisions (see below).
Participate in deep-dive sessions on key businesses.
Engage in strategic projects, mentorship, and coaching while gaining exposure to senior leaders.
Analyst responsibilities may include investment management, financial analyses, project management, and consulting in a “home office” or “middle/back-office” environment. These roles are not directly client-facing.
Divisions:
Banking, Lending & Trust: Offers access to highly experienced and credentialed professionals delivering cash management, complex custom credit, and trust services directly to clients. Our bankers and trust specialists collaborate to offer best-in-class products and “white glove” service to our ultra- and high-net-worth clients.
Client Relationship Group: Oversees initiatives supporting financial advisor and client coverage teams, including Wells Fargo Advisors, our digital and contact center teams, and Independent Channels.
Investment Solutions: Offers timely, actionable investment advice and guidance to help investors achieve their long-term investment goals; Supports investment professionals with tools, consulting, customized investment solutions, and a robust, client-first investment product platform.
WIM Product: Partners across Operations, Technology, and Financial Advisors to advance WIM’s 2026 vision through innovation, regulatory readiness, and client-centric solutions. Focus areas include advisor tools, digital platform optimization, and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI).
Professional development during the program centers on growing communication and presentation skills, improving product and market knowledge, personal branding and awareness, and completing project team assignments to support strategic initiatives.
After successful completion of the analyst program, graduates will continue in a long-term role with their assigned team.
In this role you will:
Maintain daily contact with leaders at all levels of the organization including senior management, team members, individual contributors, and vendors.
Understand processes and workflows to make recommendations for process improvements.
Bring closure to issues, questions, and requests. Solve problems independently.
Understand business needs and provide possible solutions by explaining in clear verbal and/or written communications to customers and/or management.
Consistently learn new systems, applications, processes, and techniques.
Lead or participate in projects or support activities, which are moderate in size and organization span.
Provide excellent customer service.
Required Qualifications, US:
6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Communications, English or related field with an expected graduation date between December 2025-June 2026.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively while taking initiative in a change-driven atmosphere
Demonstrated professionalism and readiness to contribute effectively in a business setting
Proven ability to prioritize work, take personal accountability, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Energetic self-starter who proactively takes initiative, acts with urgency, remains curious, and has a genuine interest in learning and growth
Strong business acumen with demonstrated interest in developing a career within financial services
Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities through one or more of the following: volunteerism, student organization involvement, study abroad program(s), leadership position(s), non-profit involvement
Job Expectations
Ability to travel 5% or more of the time
Program Duration: Two years, full-time, non-rotational. Start date: August 2026
Program Locations: The WIM Analyst Program is offered in key hub locations: Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; and St. Louis, MO.
Final placement depends on business needs and function, and applicants should be open to relocation, for which a small stipend is provided.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
