As part of our commitment to promoting greater diversity in clean energy technology, we are opening the 2025 Summer Internship and Training program – NuStars to local high school and recent college students to learn about Lithium-ion battery recycling and gain practical knowledge about working in clean tech industry as part of a team.
You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced researchers, scientists, and leaders who will guide you through spent battery processing, electrode materials recycling, electrochemical performance testing, and other aspects of organizational operation development. This will involve reviewing the literature, conducting laboratory experiments, assisting with project management, and observing leadership in meetings. At the end of the program, you will have the chance to recap learnings and share your insights with the team through a formal presentation.
This is a part-time, temporary position. Qualified candidates must commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the possibility of working up to 40 hours weekly, to participate in our planned curriculum, training, and projects.
The duration of the internship is expected to be 2 to 3 months.
