Registration Clerk – Rotating Night Schedule in Emergency Room

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registration Clerk in the Emergency Room, where your organizational skills and compassionate approach will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. This position offers a rotating night schedule, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced medical environment while maintaining a flexible work routine.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and register patients efficiently and courteously upon arrival in the emergency department

- Collect and verify patient information, including personal details, insurance information, and medical history

- Enter data accurately into the hospital’s electronic health record system

- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and provide guidance on hospital procedures

- Coordinate with medical staff and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow

- Maintain confidentiality and security of all patient information in compliance with privacy regulations

- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and document management as needed

- Respond to patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service in a high-pressure environment

Requirements

 Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in administrative or healthcare support is a plus

- Previous experience in registration, customer service, or administrative roles preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently

- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays

- Proficiency with computer systems and data entry software

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
