Location: Mount Prospect, IL (Field-Based)

Travel: ~3 days per month across  IL, IN, TN, PA, and TX. 

Compensation: $48,000 – $60,000 salary 

American Freedom Insurance Company (AFIC) is an A+ rated, financially strong nonstandard auto insurer with over 13 years of profitable growth. We are seeking a Bilingual Field Marketing Trainee (Spanish/English) to join our team. You will learn how to build and support relationships with independent insurance agencies across IL, IN, TN, PA, and TX while gaining hands-on experience in a field-based, relationship-driven role.

What You’ll Do

• Learn how to support and grow independent agency partnerships 
• Gain exposure to auto insurance products and distribution strategy 
• Serve as the primary liaison between agency partners and AFIC
• Conduct regular agency visits, trainings and product presentations
• Identify and appoint new agency partners aligned with company strategy
• Gather market intelligence and provide insights to leadership
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Product, and other internal teams to support agency needs
• Stay informed on competitor products, pricing, and industry trends

Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Outgoing, friendly personality
• Ability to do overnight travel ~3 days per month across IL, IN, TN, PA, and TX to meet with existing and prospective agents           
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation abilities
• Have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle and an acceptable motor vehicle record
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Attention to detail and high quality of work
• Ability to think on your feet, problem solve and find solutions expeditiously
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills
• Quantitative skills a plus
• Proficiency with technology, primarily Microsoft Office – Word and Excel
