Description

Position Overview: Perform duties to support the packing department, while moving and loading cases of product according to manufacturing and customer specifications. Safely performs position specific responsibilities to ensure a high level of productivity, quality and internal and external customer service while adhering to all relevant company policies and procedures. Identifies and recommends process improvements to streamline and increase efficiency of existing programs. $19.25 - $19.75 per hour. 

· Read traveler for special casing instructions.

· Verify how game should be placed on skid and where labels should be placed.

· Operate shrink-wrap machine safely and efficiently.

· Verify series and tax stamp number against case label.

· Perform inputting and scanning functions.

· Apply labels on case in appropriate place.

· Place cases on skids.

· Report quality issues to Line Lead.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma / GED equivalent

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Constantly standing and walking throughout shift
  • Gross and fine manipulation- grasping
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Other Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be self-motivated, self-sufficient and able to follow directions
  • Must have excellent quality skills - an eye for detail
  • Must like working in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be open to overtime
