Job Description

SUMMARY: Provides comprehensive administrative and program support to ensure the effective operation of Head Start services. Performs a broad range of clerical and organizational duties, including report preparation, records management, inventory tracking, and coordination of special projects.

Maintains accurate documentation and supports compliance with program requirements.

Delivers professional interpretation and translation services in both oral and written formats to support family engagement and access to services. Translates program materials, correspondence, and official documents, and provides real-time interpretation for meetings, phone calls, and events while maintaining confidentiality and cultural sensitivity.

The work of CAPK touches the lives of more than 150,000 of your neighbors, co-workers, family and friends annually, by: Distributing 12.25 million pounds of food for the food insecure; Delivering nutrition to 20,000 women, infants and children; Serving more than 900,000 meals to Head Start and Summer Meals Program children; Providing utility assistance for 9,400 families; Offering after school and summer programs for 389 at-risk youth; Delivering early childhood education and preschool to some 3,000 children; Answering over 101,000 calls for human and social services referrals.
