Job Description

Description

The Carrier Settlements Administrator ensures that carriers (truck drivers) and vendors are paid accurately and timely, and in accordance with company specifications. The Carrier Settlement Administrators provides customer service to carriers, assisting to resolve issues via phone and email. 

Essential Job Duties 

  • Process payments for vendors; print checks
  • Respond to the carrier payables email inbox and phone line
  • Set invoices up for payment in system(s)
  • Enter payments for Mexican and Transloading carriers; ensure rates match what is being billed
  • Process returned checks; obtain payment back if sent to wrong address
  • Set up carriers in Quick Pay and Factors
  • Set up and pay carriers for yard moves

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Customer service oriented 
  • Able to multi-task
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer service or accounting experience
