We are looking for a talented School to Work - Engineer to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Cummins Inc. facility in Troy, MI

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Contribute to the design and development of advanced brake systems by supporting engineering projects across air, hydraulic, disc, wedge, S‑Cam, and SAHR brake platforms for specialty and off‑highway applications.
Apply engineering fundamentals to create 3D models and 2D drawings, supporting new product releases and sustaining activities throughout the full product lifecycle.
Strengthen product quality and reliability by assisting with DFMEA, DFM/DFA, statistical analysis, DVP&R, and design and technical reviews.
Support brake lab and testing activities by coordinating test development, tracking parts, managing priorities, and creating clear technical test reports.
Investigate service parts and field returns to identify root causes and contribute to data‑driven design improvements.
Enable project execution by managing purchase orders, meeting timelines, and ensuring engineering tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams by communicating proactively, contributing diverse ideas, and supporting shared engineering objectives.
Promote a safe and compliant work environment by following safety procedures, applying best practices, and continuously improving engineering processes.
