Job Description
Hotel Maintenance Technician – Keep Our Property Running Smoothly!
Do you enjoy working with your hands and tackling something new every day? Join our team as a Hotel Maintenance Technician, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our guests and team members.
In this hands-on role, you’ll handle a variety of maintenance tasks, perform repairs, and help ensure our facility operates at its best every day. If you’re a self-starter who takes pride in solving problems and keeping things running, this is the opportunity for you.
Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the property as assigned
Complete preventive maintenance on equipment and systems
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, and company safety policies
Safely operate company vehicles when required
Maintain and properly use tools and equipment
Assist other Maintenance Engineers and team members as needed
Identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions
Support a safe and efficient environment for guests and staff
Complete additional tasks as assigned by leadership
High School Diploma or GED preferred
1–2 years of general maintenance, home improvement, or related experience
Valid driver’s license required
Basic computer skills preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and technical manuals
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to gather information and make sound decisions
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
This is a physically active role requiring frequent movement and hands-on work. Duties include standing, walking, climbing, balancing, and bending, as well as using tools and equipment regularly.
Ability to lift/move:
Up to 25 lbs regularly
Up to 100 lbs frequently
Must have good vision (close, distance, color, and peripheral) and the ability to adjust focus to safely perform job duties.
Work involves exposure to moving mechanical parts and potential electrical hazards
Occasional work in high places and outdoor weather conditions
Exposure to varying temperatures, including heat and cold
Noise levels are typically moderate but can become loud near equipment or mechanical areas
Shifts typically fall between 7 AM and 11 PM
The property operates 7 days a week, year-round
Availability for weekends and holidays is required
