Full job description

Whether your background is in sales, customer service, or hospitality (serving or waitressing), we want to hear from you! As a Leasing Consultant for our student housing community in Newark, DE, you’ll be the first point of contact for current and prospective residents, helping students and their families find a place they can call home.

In this role, you’ll support leasing and pre‑leasing efforts, conduct engaging tours, follow up with prospects, and help convert interest into signed leases. You’ll work closely with the property management team to drive occupancy, support resident satisfaction, and contribute to a vibrant student living environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct property tours and showcase available units
  • Build relationships with students, parents, and guarantors
  • Follow up with leads and close leases to meet occupancy goals
  • Assist with renewals, move‑ins, and move‑outs
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve resident concerns
  • Complete leasing paperwork accurately and in compliance with Fair Housing laws
  • Support marketing, events, and community outreach

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or hospitality 
  • High School diploma or equivalent required

Experience & Education

  • B.S. in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field OR
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience in leasing environment
