Onboard Systems Hoist & Winch, located in Anaheim, CA is one of the world’s leading providers of Search & Rescue (SAR) and Human External Cargo (HEC) advanced mission equipment for civil, commercial, and military helicopters.

Position Overview 

This is a union position covered under a collective bargaining agreement. 

Starting pay $25.00, per the union contract.

The ability to pass a pre-employment background check and an FAA-regulated drug test is required.

Location: Anaheim, CA (Onsite)

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm

The Stockroom Specialist will be responsible for putting inventory items away in proper location in a VLM machine and shelving/racks. In this role, you will utilize ERP system to manage the flow of materials and adhering to standard process procedures for issuing materials to shop work orders and engineering parts requests. Maintain proper labeling and bins to support stockroom movement of materials.

What You’ll Do

  • Build part kits from inventory for each product line and issue replacement parts as required.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels and report of any discrepancies and assist in reconciling inventory records.
  • Organize product in the stockroom, ensuring proper labeling and categorization. Maintain a clean and orderly stockroom to facilitate easy access.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials and the use of safety equipment, to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain tools, materials, and the work area in a clean and organized condition.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Who You Are

  • This position requires the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, to complete inspection reports and understand safety and quality standards.
  • High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of 1 year of Aerospace or Automotive industry experience. Graduation from an Aerospace or Automotive technical program can substitute for experience.
  • Prior experience in stockroom or warehouse operations is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods due to the nature of the job.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, taking direction from experienced peers, leads, and supervisors.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and intermediate computer skills.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
