Our Slumberland store in Minot, ND is currently hiring a Full-Time Sales Associate to help our customers find their dream furniture solutions. This position reports directly to the Minot Slumberland Store Manager, who has been with the Slumberland team since 2019 and is excited to find the next addition for our team. Is that you?!

Our Minot Slumberland Location:

Our current sales team at the Minot Slumberland would be described as team oriented, working together to reach their goals. The Minot Slumberland store has a diverse clientele including those who have long lived in the city to those relocating due to the nearby military base. With several people annually relocating to the beautiful Minot area, there are various opportunities to provide quality products to those who find themselves in our stores and online.

The Role of the Sales Specialist:

Being a Sales Specialist in the furniture retail industry can vary day-to-day as each customer brings different needs, desires, and their own unique style. This allows you to showcase your top sales skills as you work to meet these various needs! You may assist with the display of the show room floor through set-up, visual appeal, and tagging merchandise. Ensuring store neatness and cleanliness is directly in line with providing superior customer service and helps showcase the products we have for sale! You should maintain awareness of product information, and ongoing merchandise promotions and advertisements. If you are looking for a rewarding position where you can see direct results from the work you are putting in, the Sale Specialist role is for you!

Qualifications for a Successful Sales Specialist:

High school diploma/GED required. Mathematical skills to calculate discounts, interest, and percentages. Pre-Employment Background Screening required. Previous sales experience preferred, but not required. If you are the right fit for the team, we will provide the training and structure you need to be successful, even if you are entry-level! What We Offer:

We offer commission-based compensation and a draw. Employees ready and eager to sell can reap the benefits of these non-capped commissions offered, with an estimated wage range between $45,000 - $65,000 annually!
