The Speech Language Pathologist collaborates with special education teachers to manage student schedules, testing, and annual meetings. They also provide speech and language services to support students with disabilities in accordance with their unique needs.
Qualifications
You have a Master's degree in communication disorders or speech-language pathology, along with verification of an 8-week practicum with children and students aged 0-21 in a school setting. You also possess a School Speech - Language Pathologist Special Services License issued by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) or a Valid ASHA CCC-SLP Certification, as well as a Speech-Language Pathologist License issued by the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).

This position is scheduled for 36 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The SLP works in collaboration with the special education teacher in the formation of daily schedules, testing schedules, and annual meetings.
The SLP also supplies the special education teacher with current speech/language student lists so he/she can maintain a master Special Education list.
NHA provides specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability such as, resource room, inclusion and/or pullout services.

$ 65,520.00 to $72,037.80 will be the pay range and is commensurate with experience, education, and market as defined by NHA. The pay range listed is just one component of NHA's total compensation package.
