Essential Functions: 

• Use engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and all other relative documents to assemble HVAC units/sub-assemblies. 

• Ability to use an assortment of hand/power tools.  

• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly. 

• Complete unit paperwork and QC checklist. 

• Reporting of defective equipment to Supervisor. 

• Install and wire (if applicable) dampers, actuators, supply fans, power exhaust fans, condenser fans, breakers, transformers, etc. 

Safety Responsibilities: 

• Gain knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation as well as plant safety rules to perform duties safely and in compliance with all KCC rules and regulations.  

• Participate in toolbox talks & monthly training. 

• Take every reasonable precaution for the protection of your coworkers. 

• Take immediate action to address unsafe acts or conditions and report issues to management. 

• Assist in accident investigations (as needed) to identify the root cause in a timely manner. 

• Complete accident and incident reports (near miss) in a timely manner.

  Supervisory Responsibility:  This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.    Environment:  While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member will be in a manufacturing environment where loud noises and hot or cold temperatures are possible.     Physical Demands:

Position Type/ Hours of Work:  This is a full-time position working 8 hours per day with possible overtime.    Education & Experience: 

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
