The MedSurg PCS directs and monitors nursing care and services to meet regulatory and hospital standards during nights and weekends. They provide patient care across all age groups and manage staff assignments throughout the shift.

Qualifications

You are a licensed RN with 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in MedSurg. You possess BLS certification and are prepared to direct, control, and monitor nursing care on nights and weekends for patients of all ages.

The MedSurg PCS directs, controls and monitors the nursing care and services to meet requirements of the accrediting agency, Federal and State agencies, the hospital and professional community on nights and weekends.  Provides patient care services to patients of all ages from newborn to geriatrics.  Assigns patient care to staff members and manages the staff throughout the shift.



  • Valid SC RN license
  • 1-2 years of previous nursing experience preferred
  • BLS certification required
