The Facilities Technician supports the safe, functional and well-maintained operation of the property by performing routine and preventative maintenance across buildings, grounds and equipment. This role is essential to maintaining property standards and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for guests, employees and visitors.

What You’ll Do

  • Support daily maintenance operations under the Director of Facilities leadership
  • Respond to work orders and perform routine and preventative maintenance
  • Inspect buildings, grounds and equipment to identify and address unsafe or malfunctioning conditions
  • Perform general maintenance work including basic electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, tile and landscaping
  • Repair and maintain structural elements and fixtures such as floors, sinks, showers, walls, windows, roofs, locks and drains
  • Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean, organized and safe condition
  • Support maintenance of pools, spas and hot tubs as assigned
  • Uphold safety, sanitation and health standards in all work activities
  • Assist with additional maintenance needs across properties as operational demands require

Requirements

  • 1+ years of facilities maintenance, construction or related experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of general maintenance practices and building systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Effective communication skills with leadership, coworkers and guests
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurance requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work indoors, outdoors and in varying conditions
  • Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
