Job Description

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship offers hands‑on exposure to manufacturing operations and engineering processes, providing an opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a real‑world production environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enjoys working in a fast‑paced setting, and has an interest in improving manufacturing efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing engineers in day‑to‑day production activities and improvement initiatives
  • Assist with process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, cost, and efficiency
  • Collect and analyze production data to support process optimization efforts
  • Assist with tooling, equipment, or layout evaluations
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance
  • Observe and support troubleshooting of manufacturing issues as needed

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Interest in manufacturing processes, production systems, and lean principles
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented, hands‑on environment
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
