A Day in the Life

This is predominately a field-based role.

 The hourly range for this role is $18 - $20/hr. commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities: 

  • Conduct environmental sampling and monitoring activities for oil and gas field operations

  • Compile and complete field notes on each event/site

  • Participate and be engaged in the safety culture

  • Provide report preparation support to project teams

  • Assist full-time staff members on a variety of other safety management and environmental monitoring projects, in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations

  • Maintains confidentiality at all times

Your Expertise and Skills

  • Must have reliable transportation to sites in southwestern PA and northern WV (will be reimbursed for mileage). 

  • Strong Attention to Detail

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite

  • Self-Starter

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in safety management, environmental science, engineering, geology, or related science discipline

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends

  • Ability to perform in-field physical activities
