About the Role:

We are seeking a curious, entrepreneurial, and strategic Consumer Ventures Intern to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a rising senior or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience supporting the development of new consumer growth initiatives across Dow Jones.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional partners to explore, evaluate, and help bring to life new opportunities—from video expansion and contributor ecosystems to emerging audience verticals. You’ll play a key role in helping move ideas from concept to execution, contributing to initiatives that directly impact audience growth and engagement across our consumer businesses.

This is an ideal role for a creative and analytical thinker who is excited by innovation, media trends, and building new products or experiences from the ground up.

You Will:

  • Support research and development of new consumer growth opportunities, including video, content formats, and new verticals
  • Analyze audience trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to inform strategic recommendations
  • Assist in building business cases, presentations, and go-to-market plans for new initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Editorial, Product, Marketing, Partnerships) to support execution of pilot programs
  • Help track performance and success metrics for new ventures, identifying insights and areas for optimization
  • Contribute to both an individual project and a broader team initiative focused on accelerating new consumer experiences

You Have:

  • A strong interest in media, journalism, digital content, and consumer trends
  • BY THIS SUMMER, YOU WILL BE: either a rising junior or rising senior in your undergrad program
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity for how new ideas come to life
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize insights into clear recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Familiarity with digital media trends (video, creator economy, subscriptions, etc.) is a plus
