Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCBHS) has an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse (RN) in our ACT program to provide nursing services to adults experiencing substance use disorder in Lebanon, Ohio.

Position Summary for RN:

  1. Provides direct nursing care in accordance with the Ohio Board of Nursing and established GCB policies, procedures, and protocols in an ACT program serving individuals with substance use disorders.

  2. Follows the steps in the nursing process to implement and monitor a holistic plan of care for behavioral health patients, including patients with substance use disorders. The GCB nurse may serve as a coordinator in collaboration with other disciplines for purposes of coordination of patient care issues.

  3. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition and carries out physician and nursing orders.

Requirements:

  • Licensure by the Ohio Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse is required.

  • Experience in working with individuals who have substance use disorders and/or co-occurring disorders is preferred but not required (Selected candidate must be open to training)
