Job Description

As a Production Worker here at Honeywell, you will Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment and perform other related tasks within the work centers associated with producing quality natural gas distribution products according to the required company and industry standards. You will work out of our Geneva, OH location on an On-site work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 2nd shift 3:00pm -11:00pm Monday - Friday 
  • Responsible for reporting safety issues and work-related incidents as they arise to the Supervisor.
  • Understand objectives and measures of the Honeywell Safety and Environmental system as follows: prevent pollution, injuries and hazards, to continually improve, and to follow legal requirements.
  • Perform normal daily operator tasks that may require and include cleaning, greasing, and lubricating.
  • Employees with specialized training or certifications may be required to rotate to different workstations and perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor. May be required to use or operate hand trucks, carts, barrel trucks, and electric mule.
  • Participate and contribute to continuous improvement activities related to safety, quality, and productivity.  YOU MUST HAVE
  • 1+ year experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interpret manufacturing documentation that may include drawings, bills of material, routings, reference charts, checklists, pick lists, and manufacturing orders
  • Knowledge of various types of raw materials-specifications and the quality level requirements which are used in the manufacture of subassemblies and finished products

  • High school diploma (or GED equivalent).
  • Ability to use all tools, tape measure, digital calipers, and other measurement gauges necessary to make required equipment setup adjustments and perform in-process inspections of equipment and products.
  • lift/carry up to 35 pounds short distances to and from work area, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stoop and kneel, occasionally reach over shoulder/head height, manipulate and assemble small parts with one’s hands.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
