As an Operations Intern, you will support the daily functions that keep power generation running safely and efficiently at Associated Electric Cooperative. This internship offers hands-on exposure to utility operations within the energy industry, giving you the opportunity to learn directly from experienced professionals. You’ll gain practical insight into power plant processes while contributing to meaningful work that powers communities.
What You’ll Do
• Assist operations staff with monitoring and supporting power generation equipment and systems
• Help collect and analyze operational data to support efficiency and reliability efforts
• Participate in routine inspections, safety checks, and maintenance support activities
What You’ll Need
• Currently enrolled in a technical, engineering, or related associate or bachelor’s degree program
• Interest in the energy industry, power generation, or utility operations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
