Job Description

Description

The HR Recruiter, or Human Resources Recruiter, completes clerical duties for an organization’s human resources department. Their main duties include providing administrative support to employees, assisting the HR Manager with recruiting candidates to fill open roles and providing assistance with HR processing functions.  

Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
  • Reconciles benefits statements.
  • Assists with benefit administration.
  • Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
  • Completes DOT Driver Files, verifies DOT documentation and maintains DOT Driver files.
  • Conducts audits of personnel files, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
