Job Description

  • Greet and tour prospective residents.
  • Promote available units and amenities via online platforms, signage and outreach.
  • Explain lease terms, application requirements and pricing.
  • Processes and maintains accurate resident files, both tax credit/affordable and conventional.
  • Works closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure quality work is completed
  • Assists with re-certifications, renewals and retention efforts
  • Understand and communicate lease provisions and community policies to new and current residents.
  • Assists applicant with the application process, both tax credit/affordable and conventional.
  • Creates and updates waitlist
  • Completes any daily, weekly, or monthly reports assigned by Property Manager
  • Ensuring resident satisfaction through effective communication and proactive issue resolution.
  • Conduct move-in/move-out inspections with residents

Qualifications

  • One year of leasing experience minimum. - Required
  • Strong understanding of LIHTC regulations, income limits, and compliance rules. - Required
  • Knowledge of Property Management software: Yardi - Preferred
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) - Preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of affordable housing/government programs
  • Excellent customer service: someone who can navigate all types of situations
  • Attention to detail
  • Understands and complies with state landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing laws and Cal-OSHA
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word Document, and Outlook
  • Works well under pressure and maintains a positive friendly attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to communicate effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour 

Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
